In Laitumkhrah, the Society for Performing Arts Development (SPADE), Shillong in collaboration with the Festival Committee Laitumkhrah, will display the grand finale episode over large screens at Madan Iewrynghep (Fire Brigare Ground), Laitumkhrah.

To mark the occasion, there will be live performances by upcoming solo artists and dancers from 6 pm onwards.

In addition, the Society sponsored 10 voting booths in Laitumkhrah area, which had been jointly sponsored by Mr Elias Lyngwa of Web Planet, Mr SB Nongdhar, Rangbah Shnong and Mr Wankitbok Pohshna, producer, Sur Na Ri. The PCOs will be available for voting till Sunday at 6 pm.

In Jail Road, the headman informed that many PCOs were being sponsored by different organisations of Jail Road, and also individually, by AL Hek, MLA, SK Dhar, headman, B Chakraborty, deputy headman and others to ensure that the people can vote freely for Amit. The PCOs were also sponsored by Aparajita Club, Club Fifteen and Sreejoni Mahila Sanstha.

A car rally will be also taken out on Saturday at 3 pm.

Three PCOs have also been sponsored by the Bihari Youth Welfare Association in Rilbong and Bishnupur here.

The NEEPCO Women's Welfare Association (NWWA) Shillong has also sponsored ten PCOs in different localities in Shillong and also contributed Rs 15,000 in support of Amit Paul. The NWWA also contributed an amount of Rs 7000 from their personal funds in support of Amit Paul and his family.

The Frontier Chamber of Commerce has also set up a PCO booth at GS Road, opposite Nichol's Roy building at Shree Mahadeo Store here.

The Marwari Ekta Manch has set up PCOs at - Dhanketi Anchor Communication, opposite Bawri Petrol Pump for voting on Saturday and Sunday, between 9 am to 9 pm; at Cantonment, Sonu Monu Restaurant, opposite Central Bank (from 9 am to 9 pm) on Saturday and on Sunday, at Thana Road PCO, opposite Payal Cinema, from 9 am to 6 pm.

In Laban, the VMC has arranged a PCO at Fancy Store, Laban, opposite Aristo Vision Cable Service. The voting booth remains open till voting hours end.

Meanwhile, the Vice Principal of Laban Bengalee Boys' Higher Secondary School, Shillong SB Bhattacharjee wish success for Amit Paul in his venture as a promising singer.

Our Jowai correspondent adds: The Seng Kynthei Khliehriat East organised a car rally at Khliehriat Sub-Division here on Friday. About 70 light vehicles and buses participated in the rally, which started from Khliehriat and proceeded towards Mookhep village and back to Khliehirat via Soo Kilo and Chiehruphi village. The Seng Kynthei will also put up a large screen at the playground of Khliehriat School on Sunday. Another rally was also organised by Saralyne Sports Social and Cultural Clubs. A number of PCOs were also sponsored at Ladrymbai, Khliehriat and Jowai by individuals like Nr Nehlang Lyngdoh, Mr Balios Swer, Mr P Nongtdu and Mr Thomas Nongtdu.
